email Phishing, Fraud, Spam and Scams
These days we do get many spam mails and mails related to Phishing, Scams and many other things. “Phishing” is a high-tech scam that uses spam to deceive you into disclosing your personal information like credit card numbers, bank account information, Social Security number, passwords, or any other kind of confidential personal information. Identity theft is the goal of this process. I do get these kinds of mails saying they are from PayPal, Citibank and many others.
Sometimes these fraudulent mails take you to the websites which are similar to the original sites. We do get mails related to Work-At-Home Scams. These mails are really tempting asking you to pay $5-$100 and telling you that you can earn $500 per day!!!. Some examples of this type of scams offer opportunities involving handicrafts, stuffing envelopes or medical billing on your home PC.
Other mails involve Credit repair, Mortgage Loans etc. These kinds of emails have become very popular with the current issues that many people these days are suffering from bad credit.
